In the case of the death of teenager Vikas Prajapati (20), a resident of Mohalla Badabas in the town, on the midnight of last 4 and 5 November 2022 Devuthani Ekadashi in a suspicious condition, an FR was finally lodged by the Kotputli police station after 06 months. In its investigation result, Kotputli police station has termed the case as an accident. It is worth mentioning that for the last 129 days, the members of the Sangharsh Samiti and Prajapati Samaj formed in this regard, including the victim's family, were sitting on a dharna at the Ramlila Manch of Tehsil Complex, Azad Chowk in the town, demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. Accusing the police of complicity with the accused, the members of the victim's family staged a sit-in and said that they will present the evidence of Vikas's murder in the court, they have full faith in the judiciary.

When the picket was lifted, the four sisters of the deceased Vikas started crying :- The four sisters of the deceased Vikas burst into tears when the demand was lifted without fulfilling the demand for the last 129 days. Seema, the elder sister of the deceased Vikas, told that in the hope of justice during the last 05 months, justice was demanded in the police administration from the station officer to the DIG and ADG crime. Local people's representatives BJP leader Mukesh Goyal, former parliamentary secretary Ramswaroop Kasana, Janata Dal leader Ramnivas Yadav, VHP provincial vice president Puranmal Bhargad etc. assured to get justice, while BJP state president C.P. Joshi, former State President Dr. Satish Poonia, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kirori Lal Meena, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and many public representatives assured justice in the matter. Even the MLA Nirmal Kumawat raised the matter in the Vidhansabha, but despite this, neither the police changed the investigation nor the state government sent the investigation to the CBI.

What is the matter :- It is notable that on the last night of December 4 at around 8 o'clock, youth Vikas alias Akbar alias Lattu (20), a resident of Mohalla Badabas of the town, had gone to a function along with his friends Navratna Soni and Rahul Soni. At 7 am on Saturday, November 5, the relatives of the young man were informed that your son Vikas had died. Whose dead body is kept in the mortuary of the Government BDM District Hospital. On information, the relatives of the deceased reached the district hospital. Where injury marks were also seen on his body in the mortuary. In this regard, Prakash Chand Kumawat, the father of the deceased, had also registered a nominated case in the local police station on November 5, expressing the apprehension of murder. The relatives have alleged that there were marks of injury and being tied with a rope on the body of the deceased. Along with this, his undergarments and shoes and mobile were also missing. Relatives say that the police did not show seriousness about the matter from the beginning. Even after 5 days the forensic investigation team was called at the spot. During this time it had rained twice. In this regard, the relatives of the deceased, including Seema's sister, had handed over a list of 18 different questions to the police, without giving any clear answer, the police in their investigation told that the death of Vikas was due to falling of a brick pillar in an under-construction house. It is notable that the victim's family has been continuously accusing the police of complicity with the accused and diverting the investigation. For this reason, a dharna was being held demanding a CBI inquiry. Not only this, many times the local police station was surrounded, demonstrations etc. were also done.

The enlightened people of the society raised the dharna :- After the local police station presented the FR in the court in the case, the enlightened people of Prajapat Samaj reached the dharna site and got the victim's family assured of justice in the court. Prior to this, a Pargana meeting was called by Prajapat Samaj. In which it was unanimously decided to lift the picket. During this, hundreds of people including President of Sangharsh Committee Chandaram, Secretary Jagram Prajapati, Dr. MP Kumawat, Sunil Basniwal, Arjun Basniwal, Banwarilal Basniwal, Suresh Prajapat, Ramkaran, Rohitash and Dayaram Prajapat were present.
